Participation in Board Meetings

Board meetings will be viewable online without comments.

If constituents wish to participate in public comments during the board meeting you must give those comments during Community Input at the board meeting. Those who wish to participate in Community Input must fill out a card prior to the start of the meeting. The card requires their address confirming they live in-district (staff are considered in-district due to their working in-district), their name and the topic they wish to speak on. Speakers are provided 3 minutes to speak at the meeting.

The speaker cards must be turned in to the Board Secretary no later than 6:30 pm before the board meeting. Please remember this is not an appropriate venue to evaluate, discuss, or criticize district personnel. Speakers should be aware that false statements about individuals may result in civil liability. Members of the Board may not discuss items that are not specifically identified on the agenda. Therefore, any action taken as a result of public comment will be limited to directing staff to study the matter.
