One of our high school students, Trent Gregg, organized a winter clothing drive for the home PHS football game against Rocky Ford on Friday, October 19th at the Peyton Football Stadium. A variety of people donated coats/jackets, winter pants, warm socks, hand warmers, and winter hats. The donations will be given to Springs Rescue Mission for distribution. Thank you to those who donated and for your generosity! Your donations will help keep those in need warm over the winter months to come. The Rocky Ford football team also brought clothing to donate to the cause! Thank you Trent for your time and effort in organizing the clothing drive and for taking the time to help out those in need, thank you Cora for helping him out! This is what community is about.
