The National Merit® Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955. High school students enter the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®)—a test which serves as an initial screen of approximately 1.5 million entrants each year—and by meeting published program entry and participation requirements.

Centennial Mental Health Center’s Future Mental Health Professional Scholarship Program provides funding for students in a behavioral health related field (psychology, sociology, counseling, etc).


Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Cardiac Kids Chapter awards 2 scholarships each year. One to a high school senior who has received treatment for a congenital heart defect or other heart-related condition. One to a sibling of a child who has received treatment for a heart-related condition.


The Colorado Garden Foundation provides financial aid to students attending a college or university in Colorado.  Applicants must major in Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Design, Botany, Biology (as it applies to horticulture/agriculture sciences), Forestry, Agronomy, Conservation, Plant Pathology, Environmental Concerns, City Planning and/or other allied subjects. (Approval must be granted by Colorado Garden Foundation for any major other than those specifically listed above.)


The purpose of the Colorado Lions Foundation’s Educational Scholarship Endowment Fund is to provide undergraduate educational scholarship funds to legal citizens within the State of Colorado and MD-6 who may or may not be associated with a Lion, Lioness or Leo. A Lion, Lioness or Lions Club is required to sponsor any applicant for this Scholarship.


The Colorado Masons’ Benevolent Fund Scholarship/Vocational Grant Programs are open to all graduating seniors in public high schools in the state of Colorado who have been accepted at, and will attend, an institution of higher learning in the State of Colorado.
