District Emergency Response Protocol

Standard Response Protocol

Under a lockout situation, we secure the perimeter.  Everyone is kept inside and it is business as usual, meaning classes continue as normal.

When a lockdown is called for, classroom doors are locked and students move out of sight of windows and are silent.

In an evacuation situation, such as a fire, items are left behind and students move to the evacuation location.

Shelter in Place

Shelter in Place is used for things like a tornado.  We have designated places in the buildings where students and staff go to shelter in place.
